We are seeking an outstanding Motor Vehicle Lecturer/Assessor who is motivated, learner‑focused, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and assessment. As part of our established Motor Vehicle team, you will deliver dynamic, industry‑relevant learning programmes that reflect up‑to‑date automotive practices. You will teach and assess Level 3 learners through both theory and practical sessions, using diverse teaching strategies to engage students of varying abilities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment to Level 3 Motor Vehicle learners.
  • Plan, prepare, and create engaging lessons that meet individual learner needs.
  • Maintain effective assessment practices to support learner progress and achievement.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to ensure learners reach their full potential.
  • Use a wide range of teaching tools and strategies to inspire and motivate students.
  • Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Take responsibility for learner progress, behaviour, and course performance.
  • Champion the development of Maths and English within lessons.
  • Lead a programme or course area, managing standards and raising student aspirations.
  • Support recruitment, enrolment, and promotion of Motor Vehicle programmes.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external agencies, and parents/carers to support student success.
  • Use programme data to support effective course planning and management.
  • Deliver high‑quality IAG (Information, Advice & Guidance) to support learner progression.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment aligned with safeguarding expectations.
  • Promote British Values, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching.
